Now I know I said I’d avoid spicy foods for a bit, but this recipe really caught my eye. It’s a bit complicated so I’m going to give you a weekend warning, here. That is, don’t try this recipe unless you have a lot of time to devote to it.

I promise I’ll post a non-spicy dish soon, but I just love things with a little extra zing. And that’s exactly what this firecracker fried chicken recipe has. It’s spicy but not overwhelmingly so, and you can always adjust the amount of hot sauce to suit your tastes.
This dish serves four, but it can easily be altered to suit your family. I think what I love about it most is the crispy fried texture. And by marinating the chicken in hot sauce, you infuse the meat with a peppery flavor. It’s just delicious.

I like things with a little kick, so this grilled tuna salad sandwich recipe is a no brainer for me. A word of warning: you must like lemon! This recipe requires a ton of lemon juice and it’s really rather strong, so prep your tongue!

If you’ve ever wondered how to make your favorite fast food or restaurant dishes at home, now you can. And you don’t even have to guess on the recipes! I’ve found a useful website that puts restaurant favorites right into your kitchen
The site is called Top Secret Recipes and they specialize in taking fast food favorites and breaking down the recipes into something you can make in your own home. It’s a pretty neat idea, especially considering some of our favorite meals are from restaurants. It’s not always practical to go out to eat, so it would be nice to be able to make an Outback Steakhouse Three Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes right in your own kitchen, don’t you think?
Now that’s the kind of quick and easy meal-making I can get behind.

This one’s slightly more involved than previous recipes so you might want to allot a bit more time for yourself. That said, this chili dish can last you three nights for two people. It’s hearty, delicious and pretty spicy. You can alleviate the heat with some sour cream and cheese, however.
