If you love food and like to get a good bit of background information on the dishes you’ll be creating, a new TV show called Feasting on Waves will be premiering on the Food Network this weekend and it is sure to educate and whet some appetites.

A successor to the series, Feasting on Asphalt, the Waves edition will follow host Alton Brown and crew through the Caribbean islands as they seek out new foods to try and make. One of the best things is bound to be the vivid food photography, especially if you have an HD set up.

Delicious foods with serious flavor are set to fill most of the programming, but we’ll have to wait and see what sorts of inside tips and hints he’ll learn from the locals. Feasting on Waves will debut on Sunday, September 7 at 10pm.
