Roti Prata or translated into “flat bread” is one of the most favorite Indian food in Singapore, a bread pancake made of dough that consists of egg, flour and water. It is served usually with curry, mostly crispy and small but in other versions, flat and fluffy.

Some of the most famous Roti Prata outlets in Singapore are located at Clementi Road, Jalan Kayu and Upper Thomson Road. What makes the Roti Prata a hit with everyone is that it is served commonly in several flavors such as Egg, Cheese, Butter, Mushroom, Onion, Honey, Chocolate and even Ice Cream. Most would savor their Roti Prata with just curry, others with a sweet tooth would add sprinkles of sugar on it.

Since most Roti Prata outlets are opened til late or even 24 hours, it is one meal that all can enjoy at anytime of the day, though most Singaporeans would have it as their morning breakfast or late night supper.
