currypuff03Curry puff is a malay snack that can be found mainly in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in its different versions. The most common curry puff is a deep fried pastry pie filled with curry chicken and potatoes, and sometimes eggs.

In Singapore, there are many renowned curry puff that include A1 Curry Puff and Old Chang Kee. The famous Old Chang Kee has its own history dated all the way back to 1956 and is now very established with many franchising outlets selling its curry puff with other flavors such as Sardines and Chilli Crab aside to its Original Curry’O puff.

This can be the snack to beat the usual chicken pies because of the herbs and spices used to prepare the curry. It is hard for one to resist the temptation of having a bite of curry puff when they come across a curry puff stall, the smell of a good deep fried pastry can be rather mouth-watering.
